What is the first step if we want to build a custom home or a remodel project?

The first step is to contact us for a quick consultation to review what you want to build and discuss timeline, location, size, budget, etc.

Do I need a realtor to buy a home?

You do not! If you don’t have a realtor, that’s no problem. Our experienced team will walk you through every step of the home building (and buying) process as an agent would. If you choose to pull in a realtor, that’s fine too! Most communities we build in utilize realtor networks so you will always have an expert resource available to you!

Can Comerio Homes build new homes in any community?

Yes, we can build on your land or our lots across Greater Kansas City! If you’re interested in building in a particular community, please reach out to us and we would be happy to contact the developer or sales agent to discuss the opportunity.

Do I need to be pre-approved to build or buy a new home?

It’s a good idea to talk to a lender and make sure there are no hurdles to buying a home. If you’re not pre-approved (or not sure) yet, that’s okay! We’d be happy to help you with financing your dream home journey.

Does Comerio Homes have a Design Center?

Yes! Our office and Design Center are located in Overland Park. Feel free to stop in or contact us to schedule a consultation. During our Design Appointment meetings, we can dedicate time directly for you and your future dream home!

Where do we make selections?

Comerio Homes has relationships with every major vendor in the Kansas City market in addition to our state-of-the-art Design Center dedicated for client selections. If you are looking for something special or unique, we’ll collobrate and visit with our vendors as we go through your design process.

Does Comerio homes offer a warranty?

Yes, Comerio Homes offers a 1-year warranty for all new homes. We perform a pre-closing walk-through to allow the client to point out any things they have issues or concerns with prior to closing. After that, we have a 90-day & 11-month follow up. Read about our warranty information.

Will Comerio Homes build on land I own?
