What is the first step if we want to build a custom home or a remodel project?
The first step is to contact us to make an appointment so we can review what you want to build and discuss timeline, location, size, budget, etc.  There is plenty to review, so a meeting is best as a starting point.

Do I need a realtor to buy a home?

Technically speaking — no, you do not need a realtor. If you do not have a realtor, that’s okay. Our experienced team will walk you through every step of the process. If you choose to pull in your own realtor, we are happy to work with them too! Most of the communities we build in also have a realtor involved so there is always a professional accessible to you.

Can Comerio Homes build new homes in any community?

Normally, yes, we can build on your lot or our lots across Greater Kansas City! If you’re interested in building in a particular community, please reach out to us and we would be happy to contact the developer or sales agent to discuss the opportunity.

Do I need to be pre-approved to buy a new home?

It is always a good idea to talk to a lender and make sure there are no hurdles to buying a home. But if you are not pre-approved yet, that’s okay. We’re happy to direct you to one of our preferred lenders.

Does Comerio Homes have a design center?

Yes, we invested in a state-of-the-art Design Center in Overland Park, so that we can deliver the best client selection process available. Contact us to schedule a Design Center appointment. During our Design Appointment meetings, we can dedicate time directly for you and your dream home.

Where do we make selections?

Comerio Homes has relationships with every major vendor in the Kansas City market. We have a state-of-the-art Design Center dedicated for client selections. If you are looking for something special or unique, then we will make an appointment to visit our vendors’ Design Centers as we go through the design process.

Does Comerio Homes offer a warranty?

Yes, Comerio Homes offers a 1-year warranty for all new homes. We perform a pre-closing walk-through to allow the client to point out any things they have issues or concerns with prior to closing. After that, we have a 90-day & 11-month follow up. More information about our warranty can be found HERE.

We are slightly biased, but we feel that we are eminently qualified to build your home or to complete your remodel project. You be the judge!
