#2: – Design Selection Meetings

At our state-of-the-art in-house design center and with the help of our Comerio Homes designer, homebuyers will design their dream home through three design meetings. The first meeting is where you will begin making design selections that focus on selections for the exterior of your home, the second meeting focuses on interior selections for your home, while the third involves selecting your lighting fixtures! #3: – Pre-Drywall Walkthrough/Meeting
When framing is nearly complete, buyers walk the home to verify critical systems and any change orders. This key moment in the Kansas City home building process ensures accuracy before drywall is installed.

The WOW Stage, also known as the Warranty Orientation Walkthrough or “Blue Tape Walkthrough”, is one of our favorite parts of the custom home building journey. This is where we walk through the home with buyers, address final items, and test all major systems. This is also our opportunity to discuss the homeowner’s manual, our Comerio Homes warranty reporting process, and to provide instructional videos that are available for our homebuyers. During the WOW Walkthrough, our team carefully reviews your new home to ensure everything is operating as it should. We inspect any items needing touch-ups, test key systems such as water heaters, electrical panels, and fireplaces, and confirm that all systems are fully operational in your new construction home.
